The rivalry match between Yonsei and Korea U has passed, and IT WAS AMAZING! I've never seen so much spirit and cheering from their home school before. It was so intense that there is are cheering orientation that teach you how to cheer at games. There is no such thing as just chilling in your seat just watching the game. You are on your feet for the entire game, cheering and dancing. As exhausting as that sounds, all the adrenaline and excitement will take over. There are five matches: baseball, basketball, ice hockey, rugby, and soccer. We tied in basketball and ice hockey and won in baseball and soccer! The soccer game was exciting because that was the last match to determine which school wins. After the games are over, everyone gathers on the streets of Anam and cheers even more! This was definitely one of the top memorable experience I've had in Korea. I would have not been able to experience this without studying abroad here.
